What is VBARSV?

The Virginia Beach Association of Rescue Squad Volunteers, VBARSV, is a professional organization dedicated to unifying and promoting the best interests of all EMS volunteers while also providing advocacy for the perpetuation of volunteer squads throughout Virginia Beach, VA.

~Increase public awareness of the volunteer component in the delivery emergency care in the City of
  Virginia Beach

~Develop and execute an effective ongoing city wide EMS volunteer recruitment program  

~Serve as a platform for individuals to innovate ideas, discuss issues, resolve mutual problems, plan for
   future growth and promote efficiency of pre-hospital care

~Promote and preserve the continuation of a strong volunteer emergency rescue service through an
  effective leadership development program

~Nurture the welfare of the volunteer members and their families through benefit programs

~Advocate volunteer friendly solutions for challenges involving training, scheduling, administration and
  operations

~Promote system cooperation and communication among all individuals involved in the delivery of    
  emergency care in the City of Virginia Beach
